A group of fearless Cincinnati Rollergirls raised more than $1,100 for local Special Olympics athletes at the 2013 Polar Plunge.
CRG skaters Big Ugly, Buckhead Betty, Kitten Kicker, Maul Cop and Ruthless Chris and referee Montezooma raised $1,121 in online and cash donations for local Special Olympics athletes, nearly doubling the team’s fundraising goal of $600.
Steely-nerved Big Ugly, Kitten Kicker and Montezooma took the plunge on a cold and snowy Saturday, February 2 at at Joe’s Crab Shack in Bellevue, KY. (Buckhead Betty, Maul Cop and Ruthless Chris were sidelined due to illness and injury.) See more photos on our Facebook page.
