As if non-stop hard-hitting, fast-moving action, free parking and $1 happy hour beers wasn’t enough, here’s another great reason to check out the Cincinnati Rollergirls: A half-off ticket deal on Groupon.com for your choice of one of the team’s four remaining 2011 home games.
The deal, available on April 26, 2011, allows Groupon subscribers to purchase two general admission adult tickets for $12 for one of the following double-headers: April 30 (vs. the Naptown Roller Girls), May 14 (vs. the Steel City Derby Demons and the Ohio Valley Roller Girls), June 4 (vs. the Windy City Rollers) and June 18 (vs. the Detroit Derby Girls). There is a limit of one purchase per person. Subscribers must bring their Groupon vouchers to the Cincinnati Gardens to redeem their tickets, either in advance or on the day of the game. All games start at 7 p.m. at the Cincinnati Gardens, 2250 Seymour Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45212 (doors open at 6 p.m.).
Regular ticket prices are as follows:
*Adult general admission tickets: $10 in advance, $12 at the door
*Adult trackside tickets (limited quantity): $15 in advance, $17 at the door
*Kids 7-12: $5 in advance, $6 at the door
*Kids 6 and younger: Always free!
There are three ways to buy tickets: Through Ticketmaster (800-745-3000, www.ticketmaster.com and select Kroger stores), fee-free at the Cincinnati Gardens box office (open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday) or from your favorite rollergirl. Be sure to get your tickets in advance, as prices increase on the day of the game!
All Cincinnati Rollergirls home games feature free parking (tailgating is encouraged!), $1 happy hour beer prices starting when the doors open at 6 p.m., and opportunities for fans to meet their favorite skaters and get autographs and photos on the track after each game.
