The Cincinnati Rollergirls not only swept their season opening double-header on March 26, but the team also smashed all previous attendance records. A crowd of 4,111 fans flocked to the Cincinnati Gardens to witness CRG’s Black Sheep silence the Nashville Rollergirls Music City All Stars, 176-65, and CRG’s Silent Lambs beat the Music City Brawl Stars, 80-63.

High scorers for the Sheep were K. Lethal (pictured, receiving a whip from blocker Buckhead Betty) with 65 points (5 points per jam), Wheezy with 61 points (5.08 points per jam) and Hannah Ouchocinco wtih 45 points (5.63 points per jam). Trauma led the Sheep blockers with 25 offensive and defensive actions, with Nuk’em, Sk8 Crime and Sk8r-Kinney each adding 22. Ramb0 Samb0 put up 52 of the Nashville All Stars’ 65 points (3.25 points per jam).
The Lambs’ high scorer was Hop Devil with 44 points (8.8 points per jam), followed by Kitten Kicker with 16 points (3.2 points per jam) and Nastee with 7 points (2.33 points per jam). Mirderher and candyKICKass led the Lambs blockers with 33 offensive and defensive actions each, followed by Barracuda with 20. High scorers for the Nashville Brawl Stars were Nix & Bruises with 17 points (2.83 points per jam), Dawn N. Dirty with 14 points (3.5 points per jam) and Stampeedee Gonzales with 11 points (2.75 points per jam).

Cincinnati’s next home double-header is April 9, when the Black Sheep will battle the Fort Wayne Derby Girls and the Silent Lambs go up against Dayton’s Gem City Rollergirls. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the first game starts at 7 p.m.

Cincinnati Rollergirls tickets are $10 for adult general admission seating, $15 for trackside seating (18 and older), $5 for kids 7-12 and free for kids 6 and younger in advance through the Cincinnati Gardens box office (open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday), at all Ticketmaster outlets including select Kroger stores, charge by phone at 800-745-3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices increase at the door to $12 for adult general admission seating, $17 for trackside seating and $6 for kids 7-12. Parking is free, tailgating is encouraged and beer is just $1 during happy hour.
