The most wonderful day of the year? Dec 6 of course: join us for Holiday Havoc, a Brawliday Mixer between two special teams created just for the occasion: The Naughty List and Snowballs of Fury. The biggest holiday matchup of the year happens at our derby home in Northside, The Apex, on Saturday, December 6; it’s also our last game of the 2025 season. The game starts at 5 p.m, but you should arrive early because we have presents for you!
A SPECIAL PRE-GAME SHOW
The Cincinnati Barbarians are an armored combat group; they will be performing “knight fights” before the game – you won’t want to miss this epic show! As a result the doors will open early:
Doors open at 3:45 pm; The Cincinnati Barbarians begin at 4:15 pm.
THE REAL MEANING OF THE SEASON
“An important aspect of roller derby is bringing people together and this bout is all about that,” said Frostkrieg, one of many who organized this event. “We have 22 additional skaters coming from all over the tristate to celebrate and hit each other.” We thank a-SLEIGH-o ACID, CleoPAINtra, Lethal Lynz, Frostkrieg, Shocka When the Walls Got Decked, and Euryule Log for doing much of the stocking stuffing work.
a-SLEIGH-o ACID noted it wasn’t just skaters who were coming together: “Crowd Favorite” and “Holiday Spirit” awards will be voted on by the fans! It is really special to get to include our fans in the excitement of the game and the honor and tradition of awards.”
“And we are doing a Toys for Tots drive,” Frostkrieg concluded. “We love our local area and wider derby community. And this is a chance to celebrate, have fun, and close out our season with community as the focus.”

Yes, Toys for Tots, the Cincinnati chapter. Please bring new, unwrapped toys. Active-duty Marines will be helping collect the toys. Before you deposit your toy in the collection bins, make sure to be entered into the prize raffle for a wonderful kid-and-adult-friendly present. You can also donate to get raffle tickets.

When: Saturday, Dec. 6 Doors open at 3:45 pm; pregame show with the Cincinnati Barbarians starts 4:15 pm; game starts at 5 p.m.
Where: The Apex, 1641 Blue Rock St., Cincinnati, OH 45223 in Northside. The Apex has its own seating—no personal chairs required. Trackside floor seating is for fans 18 and over only.
Parking: Our parking lot is for fans who need accessible parking. There is ample street parking and three pay lots are also close to the venue at 1624 Hoffner St., 4022 Gullow St., and 4030 Hamilton Ave. The venue is ADA-accessible. More details here.
