The Cincinnati Rollergirls finished eighth in the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association’s North Central Region Playoffs, Monumental Mayhem, held Oct. 7-9, 2011 in Indianapolis.
CRG’s Black Sheep entered the tournament as the No. 5 seed out of 10 teams, but they were knocked out of contention for a trip to the championships after falling Friday night to the playoff hosts, the Naptown Roller Girls, 166-113.
The Sheep followed up the loss to Naptown with a decisive victory over Columbus’s Ohio Roller Girls Saturday morning, 168-86. A 138-98 loss to St. Louis’s Arch Rival Roller Girls later that day pitted the Sheep against Milwaukee’s Brewcity Bruisers for the seventh place spot, but Brewcity took the win, 157-99.
