NOTE: This article has been updated to reflect the cancelation of all originally scheduled 2020 games.
As government guidelines related to the coronavirus pandemic continue to evolve, the Cincinnati Rollergirls have announced the following changes to their 2020 schedule:
• CRG’s April 11, May 9 and June 6 games at the Cintas Center have been canceled, in addition to the March 21 home opener, as Xavier University has canceled all outside events on campus through July 31, 2020. Fans who purchased season tickets or single-game tickets for any of these games will receive refunds to the method of payment originally charged. The Cintas Center has asked for fans’ patience in processing these refunds, as they are also processing refunds for several other events. Fans who have questions may call the Cintas ticketing office at 513-745-3411 ext. 7 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. or email [email protected].
• CRG is exploring the feasibility of holding a public game or games later this year, but this is dependent upon the guidance of government agencies and our sport’s governing body as well as venue availability.
• CRG has postponed the open tryout scheduled for Sunday, May 17 until a to-be-determined date, after it’s safe for skaters to return to practice. Prospective skaters who would still like to pre-register may do so here, and they will be contacted directly about the new tryout date.
CRG thanks its fans, sponsors and partners for their support and patience during these unprecedented times. For the latest information, keep checking the CRG website, sign up for CRG emails and follow CRG on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
