CRG is back!
After a 2 ½-year hiatus due to covid, the Cincinnati Rollergirls are returning to action with two games this fall: Saturday, Sept. 10 at Cintas Center at Xavier University and Saturday, Oct. 8 at Sports Plus in Evendale! Opponents for both games will be announced soon.
Tickets for the Cintas Center game are on sale now at the following prices:
Adults: $15 in advance, $20 at the door
Groups of 10+: $10 per person in advance
Children 3-12: $5 in advance, $7 at the door

CRG normally plays in the spring, but the team wanted to return to public play as soon as possible with two preseason games this fall — including on one available date at Cintas Center — before resuming sanctioned play in the spring of 2023. CRG was scheduled to play a four-game home season at Cintas Center in 2020 before the covid pandemic hit.
The state-of-the-art, 10,224-seat Cintas Center represents a significant upgrade for Cincinnati’s amateur roller derby team. CRG played at Xavier’s Schmidt Memorial Fieldhouse from 2017 through 2019 and the historic Cincinnati Gardens from 2007 through 2016, when the historic arena was sold and later demolished. The team drew up to 2,000 fans per game in its last season at the Gardens.
At Cintas Center, the Cincinnati Rollergirls will play on the polished concrete floor underneath the removable basketball court, much like the surface of the Cincinnati Gardens. Polished concrete is the preferred surface for the hard-hitting, fast-moving sport of flat track roller derby.
The Cintas Center game is also part of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association’s “Back on Track” event series, a global celebration of the re-emergence of the sport that will showcase a variety of roller derby events from around the world.
Sports Plus will accommodate a smaller number of fans, but CRG is working hard to provide a livestream of both games for fans who are unable to attend in person. Tickets for the Sports Plus game will go on sale at a later date.
