Q: Where are your home games held?
A: CRG will hold its 2025 home games at The Apex, located at 1641 Blue Rock St. in Northside. The Apex is the new home of the area’s four roller derby teams: CRG, Cincinnati Junior Roller Derby, Black-n-Bluegrass Roller Derby, and Black-n-Bluegrass Junior Roller Derby.
Q: Where do I park?
A: There is ample street parking all around The Apex. Pay lots are available at 1624 Hoffner St., 4022 Gullow St., and 4030 Hamilton Ave. The small parking lot in front of The Apex is reserved for fans who require ADA-accessible parking.
Q: Is the venue ADA accessible?
A: Yes. The main entrance to the venue is on the ground level right off the parking lot, and there will be a designated area of the floor for any fans in wheelchairs.
Q: What is the seating like?
A: Seating is currently limited at The Apex, so please bring your own chair. We are working to obtain permanent seating for future games. Please note that for safety reasons, the marked area immediately outside the referee lane of the track is restricted to fans 18 and older. Have a lead on bleachers, benches, or other seating? Please email [email protected].
Q: What concessions will be available?
A: Select snacks and drinks will be available for sale at the merch booth. Our 2025 home games will also feature the following food vendors:
- May 10: Foster’s Foodies food truck and Joyously Sweet desserts
- June 7: TBA
- June 14: TBA
Q: Will there be alcohol for sale?
A: No. The Apex currently does not have a liquor license, so we cannot sell alcohol at our games. Ohio law also states that customers cannot BYOB to businesses without a liquor license. Anyone observed consuming alcohol will be asked to leave the venue, and no refunds will be given.
We are working toward obtaining the necessary permits to sell alcohol at our games in the future. In the meantime, we encourage you to visit Urban Artifact, our official beer sponsor, located right across the street from The Apex, before and after our games. For every can of Capy Snacks: Cincinnati Black Raspberry fruit ale poured on the day of the game, Urban Artifact will donate $1 to CRG!
Q: Can I bring my own cooler?
A: You may bring in a small, soft-sided cooler with your own refreshments provided the cooler dimensions do not exceed 16” x 16” x 8.” No glass containers or bottles are permitted.
Q: Where are the restrooms?
A: Portable restrooms, including an ADA accessible restroom, will be available outside the venue for our spring games. New restrooms will be constructed inside the venue over the summer and are expected to be completed in time for our fall season.
