Known for her insanely low stance and quick moves, she is a wonderful addition to any pack. Plus, as a veteran skater with years of experience, she’s bringing her wisdom and strategy to the coaching team this year to help lead CRG.

“Since 2001.”
What do you do for your day job?
“Whatever it takes…”
What is your volunteer role within the team?
“Coaching.”
What kind of skates do you roll on?
“Blue Streak, Halo.”
What’s your favorite position to play?
“Blocker.”
What is one of your derby strengths?
“Low stance, stops.”
What made you want to play roller derby?
“Several years ago while my boys were young I took them skating. Someone mentioned roller derby to me at that rink. I thought that sounded fitting so I started coming to MND. After a week I tried out for the team and it’s all history after that.”
If you had to pick a highlight from your derby career so far, what would it be?
“That’s a toss between receiving the “Rookie of the Year” and the Cherry Choke award.”
What do you do for fun off the track?
“Floral design, spend time with my boys.”
What would you say to someone who has thought about playing roller derby?
“Don’t wait, just do it. Age is just a number, the community is welcoming and supportive to all.”
