According to the Cincinnati Business Courier, the Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority plans to purchase, demolish and redevelop the historic Cincinnati Gardens, the Cincinnati Rollergirls' home since 2007, for a high-tech manufacturing site. Read a statement from the team.

The Cincinnati Rollergirls are ending their 10th anniversary season in a big way this Saturday, June 11 at the Cincinnati Gardens with the fifth annual Crosstown Knockdown against the Black-n-Bluegrass Rollergirls and the team's first-ever Harry Potter-themed game, featuring Team Gryffindor vs. Team Slytherin. The Cincinnati Rollergirls will end their 2016 home season in a big way on Saturday, June 11 with the 5th Annual Crosstown Knockdown vs. the Black-n-Bluegrass Rollergirls at 6 p.m., plus a special Harry Potter-themed game immediately following!

As with any epic story, the Cincinnati Rollergirls have been preparing to slay their dragon for quite some time. This weekend, June 3-5, they will return to the Midwest BrewHaHa tournament in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
