The Cincinnati Rollergirls will face a familiar opponent, the The Arch Rival Roller Girls of St. Louis, in CRG's 2012 home season opener on Saturday, March 10 at the Cincinnati Gardens.

One of the Cincinnati Rollergirls' star jammers, most recently known as Hannah Ouchocinco, has decided to return to her roots and her original roller derby name: Hannah Barbaric.

The Cincinnati Rollergirls opened their seventh season on Feb. 18 with two wins against their longtime regional rivals, the Grand Raggidy Roller Girls, in Grand Rapids.

The Cincinnati Rollergirls' 2012 season begins on Saturday, Feb. 18 when the team travels to Grand Rapids, Michigan to take on the Grand Raggidy Roller Girls for the first time in nearly two years.

Some derby skaters roll onto the track with years of experience under their wheels. But for others, full-contact derby is their first introduction to the sport. For seven-year Cincinnati Rollergirl skater Cherry Choke, the opportunity to start on the team when it was new was perfect timing.

When the members of Cincinnati band Bad Veins were searching for extras to appear in their "Soul Train"-inspired music video, they had a great idea: Why not ask some of the Cincinnati Rollergirls to lace up their skates for the shoot?

Are you interested in being involved with the Cincinnati Rollergirls, but not in taking the big hits? Have you wanted to be in the middle of the action on CRG game nights? You can be a part of the team that makes our games run smoothly! We’re currently looking for volunteers to help during games and scrimmages as referees, non-skating officials (NSOs), and track setup.

Donna Hollingsworth, better known as Hot Slice, is fairly new to roller derby. However, she’s no roller skating rookie. Slice (as her teammates call her) started skating about 20 years ago and found roller derby after a friend called her saying, “You need to check out this roller derby, because if you go, you’re going to want to do it.”
